1  Re: A Game of Thrones Swap S/O aug 9 GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by DeathToLems on: September 01, 2014 04:53:54 AM
Hy guys. Carbine_corgi has a lot on her mind lately so im going to take the privilege and post what i can of the crafts i made.

I do hope she can do an action shot of the cape on her dog though.

Wildfire note says "Fifty feet high, a swirling demon of green flame danced upon the river. It had a dozen hands, in each a whip, and whatever they touched burst into fire."

incase anyone was wondering that hoop is a large hoop i think a 12 inch one

Hurray my time has come!!
Part 1 of my partners amazing crafts arrived today! she had to split it up because of extortionate postage costs.
Also she has already received mine so she is yet to post pictures.

Carbine_corgi has made me this lovely box with a crow head.

Inside were treasures for my cats.

A map painting/printed of Westeros showing where each House comes from which part of the land

This charming bracelet of what i would assume is meant to be stag horns.

And now an action shot. Gizzy was going loopy for this thing.

She also threw in some of these sweets i have never seen before. Although i did ask for Laffy Taffy. Can't get that stuff easily over here. I didn't expect a bag of them though. ^_^. I just tried the "now & later" sweets. it does say "long lasting chews" but i have just gone through 6 of them in the time its taken to write this post. Sweet mother of sugar chewy goodness!

Thank you Carbine_corgi. Great crafts. loving them all and will put them to good use right away.
^__^

Awesome that you erm...got one half. doh! glad you liked the pillows. I was going to take credit for the lovely smell to them but i cant. i have no idea why they smell nice.
hope you get your second half tomorrow. figures crossed!
but anyway i am also as lucky as you to also get your gifts today!
yay!!!

First we have 6 lovely post cards (i don't even remember if i told you but i actually collect postcards Wink) which had 3 recipes written on the back and a little explination of why Naantje chose these specific ones.
i will have to give them a try one day

second is these pretty neat pot holders with crocheted cog wheels.
awesome awesome awesome.

third is this lovely red candle in which Naantje had carved a Cracken type creature with a plaque (left blank for my wedding date in the future) and Mine and my fiances name carved at the bottom.
http://

fourth was this cute dreamcatcher with cogwheels and metal feathers.

Thank you Naantje. You have been fun crafting for and  pleased with what you have made for me. the pot holders will be put to good use for sure! i'm always hunting for a tea towel but now i have these beauties to protect my fingers ^_^

I hope you get the second half of the gifts soon.

9  QR code Cross stitch in Needlework: Completed Projects by DeathToLems on: May 29, 2012 01:36:19 AM
I'm a Huge fan of The Matrix and i wanted to make a cross stitch version of a QR code. So i made this with a quote By Neo to Trinity.
I love how you can hide anything in a QR code. It gave me loads of ideas. But here's my first attempt to see if it would even work.
