An apron I made for my daughter at her request.  She wanted something feminine but still a bit punky.

I made these two aprons for my granddaughters.  They are not perfect, but I hope they like them.  I have just started sewing and I am really enjoying putting love in these sewing projects.

I  just started to crochet, and found this super easy Amigurumi pattern free at Lion Brand Yarn.

I made this apron for my granddaughter.  Just some eyelet, iron on sparkles and a bow! 

First sock monkey project, it is a little rough, but it was fun!   Notice his cool tattoo...

I am just learning to sew, so I bought a Domestic Diva Apron kit and sewed it up.  I added the sweet buttons I bought online from My Little Bit of Whimsy.  I think it's cute. 

My DH and I decided we needed to recover the dining room chairs for our new color scheme.  Quote from the furniture store for a recover was $200 per cushion.  We drove down to the city to Calico Corners and picked up an 8 yard remnant that was discounted to $50 for 8 yards.  We only used 2 yards.  That's $6.25 per yard at $12.50 for all four chairs, with 6 yards of fabric left over for curtains, pillows, and a tablecloth or runner.

First attempt at using a freezer paper stencil.  This was a very fun project.  I followed the "Craftster Quickies" tutorial as I went.

I deconstructed an apron my MIL had given me 25 years ago to make this.  She was and still is very crafty.   This was a fun project, but the ruffle was a bit frustrating for a first timer.  It made a nice homemade gift for a friend who loves blue.

I made my very first table runner after taking a table runner quilting class at our local sewing cottage.  I wish I had taken a picture of the back.  It was really fun piecing it all together, but I wish I had paid better attention in geometry!
