13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Shiny, Shiny, shiny little clutch bag !!!! on: April 18, 2005 07:33:57 AM
Hello everyone !! here's another birthday gift this time for my sister in-law. The outer fabric is soo fab, bought from my local charity store for 2 for 4 yrds. It still has its old label on it I think it might be 50's ??. The bias binding was a bit of a mare, I had to sew it on by hand !!!! it was kind of slippery on the sewing machine, next time I might do piping instead if I can ever master that. I am please with the result just hope she likes it .....

Hello everybody, I've just finsh this bag, but its the embroidery that took me sooooo long to do. It a pattern I made by playing around on photoshop, printed it off and drew over it with a transfer pencil (there must be a easier way of creating a transfer !!!!). It's of a kind of wood effect, some thing I am a bit into, let me know what you think  Grin
