2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Wedding dress, leggings & more... on: November 30, 2010 04:26:08 PM
I haven't posted in a while because nothing has reached out and grabbed me, but these did just that. You did a wonderful job on all the items. The wedding dress is beautiful, as is the bride, the party dress is stunning, the leggings are great, and the pin-up skirt is fantastic. Keep up the great work.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Recon $1 80s dress on: September 15, 2010 11:32:37 AM
You did a great recon, the dress is great. Being a guy, I say leave the top alone, unless it gaps when you sit or something. Using a little of the original trim to pull it together may be a good choice, it looks like it could be a good accessory.

Much better than the first attempt with that pattern (of course the belt helped that one). Very cute.....and you certainly don't look 29!

A man's opinion? Both the dress and the young lady wearing it are beautiful. That color is perfect for your skin tone. And, no, you don't look fat in it. I think, also, that you accessorized beautifully. Have fun, just be careful not to outdo the bride.
6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Nemo (not the fish- NOT THE FISH) Costume on: August 31, 2010 02:04:47 PM
After reading every word you wrote, I realized why a minor character got such a fantastic costume. It is truly great.

I have often kicked around ideas ranging from something like Friar Tuck to native American medicine man/shaman. I got some marvelous ideas from this. Thank you very much. Beautiful job.

Excellent job on both garments! And there's no reason you have to cover that white dress up. Wear both with pride.

My step daughter has been after me to make her something and she is always complaining that the corsets she buys just don't fit curvy girls very well. I think you have inspired me to make her some bot useful and that will fir right. You did an amazing job. Thanks for the inspiration. Wink
