sorry its taken me while it post pictures of what the lovely seaofstars sent me. she sent me so many wonderful goodies! some aren't pictured because i've already used them Cheesy

here is the stack of fabric pieces. i already used on to make a purse for my best friend!

some other crafting essentials . . . thread, beads, stamps, patch . . . oh, and some yummy herbal teas.

the de-stress item was a bag of scented bath salts. i'm using them as craft room air freshener right now.

see . . . i'm getting relaxed just smelling them Cheesy

not pictured is a bag of notions, great ribbons, beads, and buttons. also, a cute little needle/hook holder, which of course is already in use.

thanks seaofstars! it's all great!

this is the stuff i sent ViolentViolet

a long crocheted slytherin scarf (i would have knitted it except it would have taken me forever!)

and the slytherin colored bracelet my sister made:

sorry you got flaked on ViolentViolet, i hope this helps make up for it and you continue swapping!

here are the angel things i made for lucertola:

fuzzy owl magnets (something fun), a drawstring bag to hold stitch markers, with stitch markers inside(something functional), a kanzashi flower hair clip (something to wear), and yarn from my stash.

close ups of the kanzashi and stitchmarkers.

the angel items have been pouring in and i haven't had a chance to update with photos. so here goes.

our dear organizer sent a felt penguin magnet and a batman patch. both CUTE and to his liking. thanks Lv2ScrpBk!

next he got a package from eowynm. she knew an inked for The Batman and had him sign 2 copies. a great addition to his comic collection. she also made 2 shirts. a family guy one with stewie and a batman one. both were a hit! thanks supergirl!

the man tote was made by Lethargic out of different batman comics. he was enthralled by this one, and kept looking closely at all the pieces. you did a great job!

thank you angels! you all made him very happy for me Wink

my apologies for taking so long to post the lovely things that seaofstars sent for the last send out. i'm bad example. but here they are, finally. craftster is acting slow on my end so i hope we don't have another crash.

she sent me a beautiful wallet made from the most gorgeous shades of green, pink, and brown wool felt. the leaf button and white snap are nice touches.

and the inside

and 3 pairs of lovely earrings. the black and red pair is my favorite, of course i'm wearing them as i type this.

thanks seaofstars! i love everything!

i want to comment on each costume because they are all so creative and wonderful. i'm jealous of all the talent! the best halloween party would definately be one full of all these people.

so, it's my turn. i was waiting for a friend's photos, but they still didn't turn out as good as i had hoped.

from Halloween weekend . . . emily and victor from corpse bride (side note: victor propsed to emily that night Cheesy) emily's makeup wasn't great but victor's was. sorry there isn't much detail/close up.

from Halloween night. emily's makeup was better and victor's was worse Sad you can see the color/detail of the wig better, but i was in a rush and didn't get to put it on very well.

for the most part my costume was complete yesterday for a party last night. there were a few details that i was unable to finish, and may not before tomorrow night. i was pleased with most of it except my blue makeup didn't turn out very smooth and i couldn't get my bottle of spirit gum open so my skeleton arm kept falling out of the socket :Pi may have to try the paint wash craftychicaaz was talking about.  i ended up painting my leg bone on a pair of black tights and it came put better than i had expected.

unfortunately i did not get a lot of pictures. so there isn't any of the dress bottom/back or the wig/veil back (the wig took so long but i was pleasantly pleased with how it turned out. and the ribs that i redid. will take some tomorrow.

people were still able to recognize us and really liked it. we had a lot of fun! sorry for the bad quality photos, they don't do it justice, but i hope you get the idea. enjoy.
