
I tried to think outside the box and ended up with a mini-stained glass window, using an unusually shaped picture frame (personally, I don't have many 6.5"x6.5" photos).

I used black fabric paint on the front to outline the flower design. Fabric paint is made to go in the dryer, so I figured it could be baked. Using the sharpener on the back of the crayon box, I shredded the wax and spread/mixed the colors on the back. Broiled for 2 minutes. The hard part was filling in all the empty spaces.


It should be noted that I tried to use a double-boiler method to melt the wax and failed miserably; the wax cools way too fast and it just made a wax-mountain on my plate.
