1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Peacock Inspired Feather Earrings on: January 03, 2013 03:08:35 PM
Commenting so I remember to try these! Peacock feathers are my favourite too, and those are gorgeous Smiley
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: my first go at Air Dry Clay - the SSB on: January 03, 2013 02:52:30 PM
That is amazing! I rarely leave the house without a headband or fascinator, he would be perfect perched up there! I love the fibres and feathers combined with the clay.

Just checked out your other posts with the octopi, and now I'm jealous Smiley
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: Jackalope on: January 03, 2013 02:42:43 PM
That is so cool! Especially the photo of the armature which shows what's hidden underneath. The texture and dry brushing look great too. I've always loved taxidermy so I would totally hang one of these on my wall Smiley
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Bubble Wrap Necklace - Step by Step Tutorial on: January 03, 2013 02:35:22 PM
Commenting so I remember to try this! I wonder if this technique could be used to make a chandelier or a mobile, because it does look just like capiz shells.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Beaded Wrap Bracelets on: January 03, 2013 02:16:00 PM
Ooh love your other post on these, but these are so pretty too! I love that they look so simple, but intricate at the same time. They'd be great to use up leftover beads and buttons, and my style is very boho so some of these would be perfect Smiley
6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Tiny French cake version 2.0 on: January 03, 2013 04:02:39 AM
OMG that is gorgeous! Your attention to detail is amazing, the 'ruffliness' of the tiny flowers is perfect. I used to love doll house miniatures when I was little and you've just reminded me why Smiley
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Recycled Sweater Coat: An intense experiment on: January 03, 2013 03:49:07 AM
That is so awesome! It looks so warm and snuggly too. I have to catch trains early most mornings and in winter I freeze standing on the platforms, but one of these would be perfect! And as a plus, other passengers might think I'm a tad crazy and leave me to commute in peace Smiley
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Big Ol' Stump Pillow on: January 03, 2013 03:31:21 AM
That is so cool! And you're right that fabric makes the perfect wood grain. I'd love a whole series of these in different coloured timbers, maybe some made to look aged and gnarled with moss embroidered on! Like here:

Ok I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm not that good at french knots Smiley
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Painted decorative pillow on: January 03, 2013 03:15:52 AM
Love that this was for a 'put a bird on it swap' because that's exactly what I was thinking! He looks great, especially with the super serious look in his eye.

Too bad this is an old post, purple and mustard is one of my favourite colour combinations! I think this would make an awesome belt, might have to try it out!
