Last, but certainly not least, I have my FABulous FABric tags and cards by Thimbles71.

Here are the tags.  They have the cutest pictures on the front.

The cards all have a quilted charm to them.  I've never thought about doing cards this way so it has given me some inspiration for a few projects.  Love them!

Thanks so much Thimbles.  I loved your take on everything.  Smiley

Next up I have the sparkly goodness from Nowheresound!

The tags are all sorts of cute santa hats.  The nephew will love this.

Keeping with my French theme we have these cards.

I really like how the kraft paper contrasts with the sparkles.  I think it does a great job showcasing the glitter paper.

Thanks so much Nowheresound Smiley

Next up I have my package from Kbrison.

She did a beautiful job making tags and cards for a French Christmas.  The French side of the family will treasure these.

First: The tags:

The tags have this gorgeous golden sheen over them. Is the overlay stamped?

Next are these 2 cards.  They coordinate with the tags flawlessly.  The choice of paper for the matting is excellent.

You have got to see this next style:

First view when flat:

Pull the ribbon on the top and...

Bam! 3D.  Absolutely lovely and I am going to steal the idea for a future project.

Another 3D card:

Thank you so much KBrison!  I love every card and tag.  You did an amazing job making tags and cards for my requested Noel theme.

I'm finally getting around to posting my packages.  Life got in the way this past week.

First up is from SheridanLA

I really liked the size and colours of these cards.

This card has some beautiful marbling in Christmas colours.

This card has fun bling!

The snowflake on this card is 3D.

The spacing of these letter is perfect.  Also, the letters have stitching.

Absolutely gorgeous cards that I will be stealing ideas from.

Now for the tags:

These tags are very fun. The bling on the top one reminds me of candies.

Thanks so much SheridanLA.  I love every piece and am looking forward to sharing them with my loved ones.

Here is my late posting of the awesomeness that I received from Onyxnox.  She coordinated the tags and cards which was fun.  I liked seeing how an idea could be applied 2 ways.

These beautiful lanterns.  What I really liked about these is I was expecting the crackle background to be textured but the paper is smooth.

Next are these Christmas trees:

The trees have red bling on them and shine nicely in the lights.

I love the blue tones in these next ones:

I like the deer silhouettes on these next 2.  Also, silver embossing is awesome.  I have a thing for embossing.  I can't get enough of how fancy it looks.

The texture on these next 2 are delightful! I really like that they say Noel too.

Some fun extras!

And it was hard to pick, but I'm choosing this set as my favourite.  I've never seen anything like these before and the skates are laced up which is awesome.

Thanks so much Onyxnox!  I loved having you share your talents with me!  You have given me lots of ideas for next time.

Here are the amazing tags and cards I received from Smashu (which I keep typing Smashy everytime I type your name.)  They feature original artwork!  And the backgrounds are perfect.

Cards First:

I love the scenic background here.  The slant of the tree is whimsical.

Look at his nose!!!  Isn't it adorable.

The background and the candy canes on the front match perfectly.

This card even has wire on the front!

I couldn't pick a favourite.  They are all wonderful.  I really like the size of these cards too.  I tend to stick to making 5.5x4.25 sized cards and it's a great reminder to think outside of my box.

Tags:

The tags coordinate with the cards.  The background of the tree matches the light bulb card.  And in the next picture you will see the theme repeated again.  The back tag is made from chalkboard paper!

That adorable nose again and cute light bulbs!

I am going to have a very hard time parting with these tags and cards.  Thanks so much Smashu! I love them.

7  The Raven - Halloween Card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by flygirl88 on: October 29, 2015 05:32:42 PM

Who says cards can't be given on Halloween?

I designed this card for a swap a few months back.  I used back embossing powder for the raven stamp to give the card a main point of interest and different texture.  The top feather has been popped up using some dimensional tape.  If you look closely you can see that the background paper has a raven perched on the candelabra.

Main Supplies used:

Stamps - CTMH Quoth the raven and Stampin' Up Four Feathers
Cardstock - Grey (the shade is a bit darker than the photo depicts) and cream
The paper was something I've had in my stash for years.
Black embossing powder

Congrats on the new house!

I received a kickass supply package from Dreadlocklove.  It has so many goodies which will go great to my next card making session.

Here are coordinating large and small brads and washi tape.  I tend to hord washi tape and brads.  I just need to have them all.

My newest obsession, Glitter Tape!

How much baker's twine does a paper crafter need?  All of it. Plus 2 cute stamps

And check out these shaped brads.  I've never seen anything like them.  I can't wait to use them.

And more stamps! Keys are awesome.

Thanks so much!  I love everything.

Sweet market bags!  I love the monster one.

I receive a very generous supply package from our lovely organizer Rscowtown!  Check it out!

Minky Fabric - a huge bag of it.  So soft.

Six jars of embossing powder.  Look at all the pretty colours.

Now you are thinking, "Wow.  With that much embossing powder, you'll have lots to use for embellishing your projects."  And you are right.  I thought the 6 jars was really generous.  But then Rscowtown followed it up with...

!!!!52!!!!  Baggies of more powders.  Every colour combination you can think of.

Then there are these eyelets and washers in fun colours

Plus these ones.  It took me a moment to figure out what shape they are, but they are chef's hats!  (Unless I'm incorrect? LOL Smiley ) They would be great on a scrapbooked recipe.

Thank you again!  This was a very fun package to open. Smiley
