4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: What's the biggest amigurumi you've made? on: April 01, 2011 09:48:29 AM
The largest I've made is probably from Linda Pott's Dino Buddies pattern. Her Diplodocus is almost 12 inches tall when finished, but I am really in love with Shauna Richardson's crochetdermy . It's not really so much amigurumi as sculpture, but I would love to try to do something on that scale.
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: Stuffie/Amigurumi makers - which way do you crochet? on: April 01, 2011 09:37:20 AM
I crochet along the outside but sometimes you just have to do it the other way for certain projects. It's really whatever feels more comfortable to you.  Wink

Thank you both! I love the eyes especially how she kinda looks pissed off when you look at her straight ahead but all cute and cuddly if you turn her to the side. She's got catitude. hehe  Grin
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Meep, the Catyr on: April 01, 2011 08:24:46 AM
I love mythical creatures, and was trying to come up with a new doll pattern. I got inspired reading my blogroll the other day, and started thinking hmm... what if a cat bred with a satyr. Hence the Catyr. So this is Meep, the Catyr. What do you think?

No problem! I'm glad you like it.  Cheesy If you're planning on doing the baby mobile, I've already got the clam pattern up as well and you can download it for free at http://magicalmaus.blogspot.com/2010/06/clam-pattern.html. I should have the crab done by this weekend and the seahorse and octopus shortly afterwards.  Grin

Thank you and Congratulations!  Cheesy I've been working on this for a friend that's due in August. I hope I get this finished just in time to ship it to her before the baby arrives! lol
