Here is the latest finished knitting project, again from Interweave Knits (09 Winter). I love gray and everything I knit for myself always turns out to be gray even though I buy colorful yarn! Enjoy!

The picture isn't great and I couldn't model it and take a photo of myself:(

it dries fairly well....but since it's cotton if it gets too wet it will take a while:( i try to hang them on a hook right outside my kitchen window-but i have been known to freeze a few in the winter!

Jane2- I think it was last year's Interweave Knits Weekend, it's one of those special issues.

I am glad everyone likes the color!
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Maleficent's headpiece? (in-progress pics on pg2!) on: October 07, 2010 01:03:21 PM
years ago i went as maleficent for halloween too. I decided the best route was to make my headpiece out of papier mache-not such a good idea...because it was super heavy and my neck hurt horribly later on. best of luck to you!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: New Kitchen Towels on: October 07, 2010 12:27:13 PM
yeah i try really really hard to make sure my husband never comes in the kitchen! and he barely even uses a towel-he is more likely to use an antique tablecloth or something worse as a towel....so now that i have thought about it maybe i should buy a few and label them"TOWEL"! lol!
