1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Double hem floral skirt - Japanese fabric on: July 05, 2010 07:53:37 PM
A very simple gathered skirt, made out of Japanese fabric.  I made a double hem to add a bit of character to an otherwise pretty plain pattern.  Still can't get over how versatile a simple gathered skirt is!
Has anyone made a triple hem item before?  I'd love to see it, it is on my to do list!

These are very very cute.  I'm really inspired to make a skirt with buttons down the front too!

Well done!  That fabric cannot have been easy to work with, especially ruffles.
