1  Rhinestone Skull Box in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by StitchMinx on: February 07, 2014 11:01:01 AM
I painted and blinged out a cheap wooden box that I found at the discount store.

The only rhinestones I could find weren't the flat back kind so I had to drill holes in the box to fit the stones.

2  Blue Chainmail Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by StitchMinx on: January 15, 2014 03:49:03 PM

My first try at chainmail before I tackled a bigger project. I was very lucky to find coloured wire as it's something you don't find easily in a small town like mine.

If you'd like to see a step by step you can see it at:

3  Velvet tissue holder in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by StitchMinx on: February 05, 2012 04:23:23 PM
I'm renting an apartment which has a very "rental" kind of decoration. You know the drill, white, beige and store bought paintings. We can't paint or change the furniture, but I can still add a personal touch here and there, right?

This tissue holder was really easy to make, I just sewed it by hand while watching some TV in less than an hour.

Tissue out.

Tissue in.

Here I'm presenting the wonderful gifts by EllaRain, thank you for being such a wonderful partner!

First, a shot of one of the packages (the other, a beautiful purple ribbon, was torn appart in eagerness and impatience). The gorgeous packaging just made me love the items more.  Grin

Here are my two goodies, a credit card holder and a necklace:

Close up of the wonderful necklace:

And bonus points! It features interchangeable wizard hat pendants! I simply love the silver accents, I don't remember mentioning it in my questionnaire, but silver is my favourite metallic colour.

Then the lovely credit card holder, I can see myself using it all the time it's simply gorgeous! I love the fabric and the cross stitching work is so beautiful.

The inside:

What's this? Oh crap! It's second hand! There are even some cards left by a previous owner! Grin

Thank you again EllaRain, the items you sent are wonderful and I love them completely. Cheesy
