I made these as a thank you/holiday present for my tennis coach. It was her first year coaching and she did a phenomenal job.

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments!! Cheesy

I love the PacMan but I love your painted/stained fingers more!!! LOL
Your hands look just like mine do after 3 minutes of crafting.
My bf makes fun of me saying there is more paint on the floor and ceilings than on the paper Smiley

Lol, it's henna so more like intentional staining.

At first I just made the pacman, but one of my friends suggested I make a monster too, so I did. Cheesy

15  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: Re-Baking after glaze?? on: January 02, 2008 03:11:07 PM
I ended up just baking for 10 minutes at 250 degrees and it seemed to work. The earrings actually looked much better (and maybe even shinier) afterwards. Thanks for all your help!!! My teacher loves her new earrings. Cheesy

I used the Sculpey Satin glazed thinned down with water, so yes, it is acrylic. I think I'm going to chance baking it again, it's better than giving her earrings that are going to start coming apart or leaking polymers.

The pieces weren't coming apart per se, I made beads and if I just took my fingernail and pulled them apart, it was completely underbaked inside. After this instance, I worked out how to really keep my toaster oven at a good temperature.

Thank you so much for your advice, I really appreciate it.  Smiley I hope I can save her earrings.  Undecided

I made these earrings for my teacher and I thought I had backed it enough, so I glazed them. And then someof the other pieces I made started coming apart. Can  Ire-bake my earrings?? They took me forever to make and I really don't want to re-make theb, so is that the only option I have left?
