51  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Weenie wrap from underwear (tutorial available) on: June 30, 2010 05:48:09 PM
Thanks for the tutorial.  My 7 month old Shih Tzu is trained, but when anyone comes to visit, he gets so excited he tinkles all over himself and the floor, so I've been meaning to make something like this.
52  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Thanksgiving / Re: Pine Cone Place Cards on: June 30, 2010 05:42:32 PM
I'm late in finding these, but I think they're just a great idea for any fall or winter gathering. It would be fun to use photos of the guests as place cards.
53  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: A shedload of ringpulls/pop tabs? on: June 30, 2010 05:32:05 PM
Schools are collecting these like crazy for matching funds for playground equipment, etc. The ones you don't want, donate them to a school, or to a child.  Kids get prizes for collecting the most tabs.

Oooh! Good score. I've been meaning to go looking for discarded wallpaper books.  I would use them for many things from altered books to card making to mixed media collage.

This is a very long thread, and I haven't read it all, so forgive if this has been suggested.  My mother used to make beautiful flower corsages from nylon stockings that she dyed and used copper wire for the base of each petal.
56  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hi from the Mid-South :) on: June 30, 2010 03:59:31 PM
I've been lurking (reading and enjoying) for several days, lots of interesting stuff going on here.  I've never met an art or craft I didn't want to try, at least once.  I enjoy doing everything from mosaics to digital art to watercolors and paper sculpture.

Hope it's okay to post a blog link here.  Mine is about all the artsy stuff I'm up to, also about my 7 month old Shih Tzu.

I'm looking forward to sharing with you all.
