1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: music shoes on: January 10, 2012 12:08:47 AM
These are amazing!

I'm going to need to go crazy with old music, or magazines with some of my plain flats! I get so bored with the plain ones and usually just give them away!
2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: scissosr vs. converse! who won?*Now with small TUTORIAL!* *NEW PICS* on: January 09, 2012 11:29:53 PM
I've had men's converse for about 4 years now, and they always make me look too manly. They are all black and also had black laces. I thought they might be cute ballet flats and would look great with this new owl shirt my cousin got me. I tried to make them, and couldn't seem to keep them on.
My feet are too small. So I looked at my scraps, and decided I could make Mary Janes, but add some elastic to them so it would fit me. I don't have elastic laying around, so i used some from one of my dad's ribbed socks.
This tutorial was easy and amazing and I love your idea! Thanks to you, I can wear my beloved converse without looking like a man. Cheesy

And I call them my Punk Mary's.

3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Upcycled sweater boots (w/mini tutorial!) on: January 08, 2012 10:53:53 PM
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been needing new boots and loved the knit uggs, but cannot ever afford them.
Found this pattern today and went directly to goodwill and they are finished!  Grin

It won't let me post a picture, but I uploaded it!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / rasta hat on: June 27, 2010 09:22:17 PM
hey guys, i'm new here. i've made a ton of hats, and my friend wanted a rasta hat, so i made him one today. it took about 2 hours to do. the pictures didn't come out real well, but after the ribbing, i made the hat in the basketweave stitch and then single crocheted and decreased the top closed. so it's ribbed, then basketweaved, and then single crocheted. it was really fun and i loveeee it so much so i have to make another one for me. hahaha hope you guys like it! i don;t really know if i'm doing this right, so hopefully this link works!
