Awww - they look so warm and cozy! I could go for a pair of those right now. Smiley I am saving this tutorial for later!
22  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Felt Nesting Doll Ornament on: September 08, 2013 10:51:59 AM
How cute! I love the look of trees with a variety of homemade and antique ornaments. They just don't look the same when it's all color-coordinated and looks like it belongs on the floor or a retail store.

I love the colors you used on this one. Smiley

This is my favorite thing today. I saw the thumbnail on the main page and I could not go by without commenting on it.
24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A Stripey Take on the Infinity Dress on: September 08, 2013 10:47:12 AM
This is utterly adorable! The stripes are so versatile and would be great for a casual day at the park or even dressed up a little with accessories for an office/party setting. I love the wrap style - I think it is a flattering fit on almost everyone. Smiley

yay!! I'm excited to share my shop with everyone. I just opened it earlier today and I am going to gradually expand my inventory. Currently, I am listing a lineup of infinity scarves, but I plan to add other clothing, accessories and home decor items soon. Check back frequently as I will be adding new items each week!
26  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: An Unclaimed Baby Quilt on: September 07, 2013 08:41:06 PM
That is just too cute. I am in love with the rickrack on the border - I am going to have to try that on my next baby quilt. It adds just a touch of childhood charm. Smiley

Just like everyone else has already said - this is absolutely wonderful. I love the combination of the patterns with the color scheme. Very cute! Who would not love to receive this as a gift??

And congrats and being a featured project! Smiley
28  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: There once was an ugly cable... on: August 15, 2012 03:39:45 PM
What a cute idea!! You could even get crazy with it an paint something on the wall that matches so it really pops. This is very fun though. I might have to try that in my computer room with all of the ugly black cables running down the side of my desk.

These are adorable! I love the colors.

Is there a tutorial somewhere??
30  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Ode to my pets :) on: August 15, 2012 03:31:52 PM
I have been trying to re-decorate a (very small) spare bedroom into my craft room. I have been having a lot of fun with it, but I needed some color up on the walls.

I made these out of some spare fabric I had, a couple of dollar store frames and some fabric paint. I found a couple of silhouettes of a basset hound and a manx cat (my beloved furry friends), traced it onto wax paper, cut the images out with an exacto knife, double-side taped it to the fabric and used a foam brush to apply the paint. Very easy. I think it took me less than an hour from the moment I printed the image from my printer to actually hanging the frames.
