Just checking in, I'm ready to post one of my matchboxes. Just need to let it dry for another day. I need to start decorating my other one. Thought of a theme, just need to go with it.

magicfan- Thank you . I kinda like the layered look too. Might keep me extra warm :p

infructescence- The blue one is veryyy soft, I thought I wouldn't get on with crocheting it but it was fine. I still have loads of this cotton left, I might do matching gloves or something.

I made these two berets recently. The first one is made from cream cotton and the second one is a bluey-grey mohair(ish) cotton.
I didn't follow any patterns, I just made it up as I went along.

This is the first project I've posted here, so go easy on me :p.

I don't really like proper gloves, I hate it when my nails catch on things and the gloves I already had were a horrible material, so I decided to make a pair of simple fingerless gloves with a cable running down them for the winter months. I used a blue crocheting cotton but put 3 strands together to make it thicker.

All the matchboxes are AMAZING. I can't believe the detail that has gone into them.

My birthday is on 27th, tempted to join but I really need to get some of my other swaps out of the way. Hope I can finish a few off this weekend then join this one! Happy Birthday to all the February kids
