Oh my god, that's exquisite. Your mother is so talented! Thank you for sharing it, it's the prettiest thing I've seen all day!

WOW. I love it. I would totally rock the corset top at the army man earrings (best part imo) on my days off. Great job, lady!
25  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: More Nintendo characters - little ornaments this time (7 pics) on: November 29, 2007 04:12:44 PM
Nice work! I love the detail, you did such an awesome job! Toadsworth is one of my favorite characters, too. I would totally steal your idea if I didn't already have a Katamari themed tree.

I'm about to undertake a major Sculpey project of my own soon and I'd love to replicate your success. How much of these were painted and how much of the coloring is the Sculpey? What kind of paint did you use? What did you seal them in to make them so glossy and pretty? I'm pretty nervous about how much work I have to ahead of me, so any hints would be more than welcome.

Don't be so hard on yourself! They look AWESOME.  Smiley

Your barrette is beautiful! I love it. You have a great eye for design.

But I mostly posted to say, "OMG, I think we read the same 'how to make a bread clay rose' article years and years ago." Did you read it in some craft magazine when you were young, too? I used to make those obsessively when I was a kid!

I don't have enough words to tell you how much I love this. Wonderful concept, wonderful design, wonderful work.

Oh WOW!! These are absolutely amazing. He put so much work into the design of each one, I can hardly believe he didn't use any patterns. He did a FANTASTIC job.
