2  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Prayers for Paris on: November 13, 2015 10:35:05 PM
Hey guys and gals I just heard about the terrible going ons in Paris and got the idea to maybe set something up to send little items of crafted hope in their dark hours. Does anyone know of how one might set something like that up, where to send it, or if someone else is doing something similar where items can be sent?

so with all this snow Ive been wanting to make some snow ice cream lately. does anyone have a good recipe? over the years mine always seems to be really liquidy or too sweet. and does anyone know how to preserve it!? every time i pop it in the freezer to try to save some for later and it just turns to a frozen hockey puck and becomes completely unappealing to eat Cry
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / and then that crafter instinct kicks in... on: September 15, 2011 02:00:54 PM
I'm currently crocheting a big rainbow granny square (it's maybe 3 1/2ft long right now) I was almost out of blue yarn so I made an estimation on whether or not I can make it around once more. It looked like I could and then the instinct kicked in with a "Watch you run out of yarn a few inches from the end"
Well I wasn't exactly inches from the end but I still have about a foot worth of stitches to do and no cash to get more yarn...   Sad

anyone else get this happening to them?

... so now I'm wishing this issue had come up earlier in this blanket. I didn't feel like waiting so I just continued with a navy blue yarn. a single row of a darker color looks pretty cool.  Tongue
