Brief Description: Fiddler on the Roof was made into a movie! I helped make costumes for a stage production of a musical that was made into a movie I love! I've got to say, even though they're boring men's vests (which I said I'd do because no one wanted to sew guy stuff), that is pretty cool.

Those plaids do line up when they're not lounging on a couch waiting for me to snap a picture. Really!

Brief Description: "Would it spoil some vast eternal plan if I were a wealthy man?" is a line in the song "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof. The lyrics were written by Sheldon Harnick. It's my dad's favorite line in one of the few musicals he likes. I think it's a pretty cool line too! I find myself thinking it at times  Roll Eyes
Extra wordiness: Look up subjunctive verbs if you're wondering why it's were and not was. Kind of neat!

Yay, prompts!

And I'm down for costumes for anything!

Yarn, I never have any idea unless the pattern tells me, I usually wing it (which is why I have an octopus with only two legs, they discontinued the red ... I think it was Allure yarn?  Anyway, I haven't unraveled him yet, don't know if I even can with the fuzzy yarn... he might just have to have different color legs!).
I think a multi-colored octopus would be neat-o!

Yeah, when figuring for fabric I just measure the pattern pieces too- keeping in mind standard widths of bolts, sheet sizes, plaid/print matching and other considerations.
