Thank you for responding. I love almost any craft. I especially love to crochet, knit, and sew. I also do some quilting. Some of my sewing, crocheting and knitting are for babies and the homeless. I have a real heart for these. I just posted a really neat idea that I came across to make 2 1/2 ft by 6 ft mats for the homeless out of plarn. As soon as I get enough bags, I am going to make them. I already made rugs and tote bags from plarn for the grandkids to play with.

CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / crocheted?? scarf with ribbon

I saw a scarf a while back that a friend had that was possibly crocheted. It was very loose. It would have what appeared to be crochet for a few inches and then it would just be the ribbons for a few inches before being crocheted, etc for the length of the scarf. Has any one seen a pattern for this. This woman did not have a pattern for it. It did not look machine made, but hand made. Thanks

I have made some about 1 1/2" in diameter with cotton yarn to use as makeup remover. I was always getting the fuzz from the makeup remover pads, didn't like tissues, nor tp. These are working great. I also made larger ones to use in the shower as a wash cloth. They help foliate, yet are not too scratchy. I have also made these with net and use on my pots and pans.
