This is my first summer living with 2 of my best friends and my first summer without a grill. We all wanted a grill but the biggest problem is that my friends are vegans and I am quite the carnivore. So we wend and bought to grills one for me and one for my friend and his wife. Now the only thing is how to tell them apart because they are the exact same grill. Then one day on my way into work I thought why not paint it to look like the Mario Bros mushroom. And that is what you see here.
It was actually fairly easy. But the paints were kind of hard to come by unless you knew where to look.
I had to use some high heat spray paint otherwise the paint would bubble and peel every time I cooked in it.
I found the white spray easily at Home Depot but the red is a little hard to come by. I had called ever hardware store in my area and was about to have to pay extra to order it online when a women from Home Depot told me to try Pep Boys. When I went it they had a whole rack of

On the bottom half I just taped up two lines for the eyes then sprayed the white. and on the top half I started with a white base coat, let it dry overnight, covered it with blue painters tape and used a paper plate as a stencil. Cut the circles out with my pocket knife, and peeled the tape off around them. Sprayed the layer of red let it dry and there you have it.
My friend and i might do the same to his grill but use green to make the 1Up.
