1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Paper mache frames...maybe? on: July 08, 2010 10:10:10 PM
This is my first thread is bare with me, I always seem to mess these kind of things up.

When I was growing up my mom was big into scrapbooking and had (has) TONS of supplies. My early art projects used eyelets and buttons and other fancy-ish things. Therefore I never really used Elmer's glue...and I'm still not quite sure how to paper mache. I tried and these frames are the creepy little Frankenstein monster results. Oh, and yes, I know it's not exactly paper mache but I kinda sorta used the same technique.

Above pictures are my first try and as you can see, plenty of mistakes, but that's how we learn!

A little better. This frame went to my BF, as you can see by the nerdy-ness of it. I made the picture inside of it too (and I know it's incredibly hard to read. It's the last bit of Team Rockets theme but the last line is "STFU Meowth, you don't even have thumbs!")
