Hi Everyone!

So I've been lurking quietly in the depths of Craftster admiring everyone else's work, but not daring to show any of mine, until today! I'm not a swimmer, but my cousin is, so here is her birthday present. I'm sure you've all seen the adorable washer pendant necklaces all over the Internet, but I didn't have a washer, so I had to compromise.

Materials

Flat object (I used a poker chip, but I've seen similar ones made with thick pieces of cardboard, chips of wood, etc...)
Decorative paper
Modge Podge
1 Pony Bead
Embellishments
Chain
Glue gun (any glue would work though)

Instructions

I used the poker chip to trace a circle onto the piece of paper. Then I took some alphabet stickers and wrote "swim" on it. Then I modge-podged the paper onto the poker chip. Before it dried, I took the rhinestones and stuck them on. Then I took a pony bead and glued it onto the top. Finally, put it on a chain and wear it with pride. 

WOW! That is so pretty and professional looking I love your choice of fabric, the colors go so perfectly together. I wish I could sew like that.

This is the perfect present for my tea-loving neighbor! How do you come up with such cute but original ideas? I am in total awe.

P.S. Did you use a pattern or just 'wing it'

Thanks for the idea, I made a bag and I have the same problems. Maybe doing it that way will help!

What a cute idea, I'm sure your brother loved it. 

That has got to be one of the CUTEST purses I have seen. I love the colors, style, and the button just finishes it off. It looks so professional.
