1  Cute Necklace from a Poker Chip + Tut in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by princesscgn on: June 17, 2012 03:46:06 PM
Hi Everyone!

So I've been lurking quietly in the depths of Craftster admiring everyone else's work, but not daring to show any of mine, until today! I'm not a swimmer, but my cousin is, so here is her birthday present. I'm sure you've all seen the adorable washer pendant necklaces all over the Internet, but I didn't have a washer, so I had to compromise.

Materials

Flat object (I used a poker chip, but I've seen similar ones made with thick pieces of cardboard, chips of wood, etc...)
Decorative paper
Modge Podge
1 Pony Bead
Embellishments
Chain
Glue gun (any glue would work though)

Instructions

I used the poker chip to trace a circle onto the piece of paper. Then I took some alphabet stickers and wrote "swim" on it. Then I modge-podged the paper onto the poker chip. Before it dried, I took the rhinestones and stuck them on. Then I took a pony bead and glued it onto the top. Finally, put it on a chain and wear it with pride.  Cheesy
