hurm.... do I detect some wire hoopage there? Because you'd need to hang the ornaments from something...
I love the idea. It's great. I think if it were me, I'd put a few more hoops in to have the garland drape all flowy down the sides and put a few more ornaments on it.

So if it's not supported at the bottom, what are you suspending it with, and how heavy is it?
