Recently I wanted to design and sew my own plush-kawai-rabbit and ended by making 8 of them.

So which one do you prefer ?

Pumpkin Pie recipe :

Leave a black cat skin to dry five hours in the sun, stretch it and cut in a circle, that would do for the Shortcrust pastry.
Pick one of your most rotten and swarming with worms pumpkin, cook it in your usual cauldron.
Fill the pastry with the pumpkin and bake it in your oven for a short hour.

When done, steal some candies to the nearest kids and use them to decorate your pie.

Make sure to invite some very good friends (like I did - see the picture )and share with them this marvelous pie.

Just before the customary Trick-or-treating event, a little soon-to-become-a witch, that we will name "Tiffany", reahearsed some of her latest magic tricks with her big white cat, that we will name "Greebo".

I guess these two will have a basket full of candies in no time ^^

PS : on the third photo you can see that the doll has received the same costume as her  mistress-witch.

Here is a pair of cute bootees that I made for my second nephew.
They are chocolate / automnal colored and made with linen and cotton fabric.

My insipration for the cute slippers is from a french sewing book "Simple sewing for good children"

For the little bag I used a tutorial on another french blog "My tresure chest"

Here is a little complete costume that I made for my little girl (7yo). It's based on historical patterns and iconography.
It's a 15th century merchant daughter from France.

The "Chainse" (undergarment) and the "cale" (head) are made of thick cotton , the dress is made of flax.
We added a little leather "aumônière" (purse) attached to a rope-belt, and a little "fibula" (brooch) of celt inspiration.
The boots a non-historical.

Here is a little set I made so my kids can play Kawaï fishing.
All the fish are made of felt as well as the 2 fishing pole (except for the rope part).
The good thing about it is that you can create different fish with different colors according to your likings.

Icecream Soze waits until his wife and kids have melted then he goes after the rest of the mob. He eats the ice cream cones, bites their waffle, crunches the small chocolate chunks. He burns down the ice cream truck and kills the driver. And like that he was gone....  pshitt !!

"Fifteen men on the dead pig's chest--
...Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!
Drink and the devil had done for the rest--

Here is a quick, easy-to-do felt cupcake that I made for my girl's doll tea set.





Home felt cupcake recipe :

1-Gather all the ingredients (vary colors).
2-Prepare the dough by sewing the bottom circle to the border.
3-Leave to rest and start with the decoration of the cake.
4-Arrange thin slices of dough on the 2nd circle and sew them.
5-Add a cherry or a currant (sew them with stitches all around the smallest circle, fill in with  padding while pulling on the thread, then fix to your cake), leaves or whatever you want according to your imagination
6-Go back to your dough, add the cream (the filling ^^) as you sew close this good cake.
7-Use the piping bag on the outline of the cupcake to add a creamy touch.
8-Good tasting, waiting for your opinions on my recipe.
