The first picture looks just like the pattern example. You might want to experiment with the stuffing. Sometimes stuffing too much or stuffing too little is what makes the difference. When you over stuff in these types of patterns, there is a tendency to over stuff the head so it usually looks bigger than it is.
Ok I didn't know if that was how it was supposed to look still. Thank you!
However, on the third one I followed the patter the same, up until the 6th row of the body when I started to change it because it was tiny compared to the head. So I just don't know what to do!
Thank you again!

I am having a real problem with this pattern: http://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-Amigurumi/Devil-Wears-Red-Amigurumi-Pattern#
The head keeps coming out to be HUGE! I use the same hook and yarn for the body and head in each project. I even tried a different hook in a seperate one, but used that same hook on both the body and head in that project to see if it would help. It didn't! I don't know what I'm doing wroing!
This is the first one, it's the closest to what it should look like.

This one still came out wrong so I used the head for the body and the body for the head because the proportions were so off. But I kinda like him! Cheesy

Then I tried something a bit different for this one too. I tried adding an extra row after Rnd 5 so that it would read: *Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 30 sc.
And and extra row of sc.
So my altered pattern for the body looked like this:
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnd 3: *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in 2nd sc*, repeat from * around = 15 sc
Rnd 4: *Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 20 sc
Rnd 5: *Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 25 sc
Rnd 6: *Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 30 sc.
Rnds 7-11: Sc in each sc around
Then I stopped because it STILL doesn't look right! Huh

If someone could PLEASE help me I'd appreciate it so much!!!
Thank you!!!

OMG! She is amazing! I thought this was a regular doll when I first saw her in the thumbnail, then when I saw her larger then I noticed she is amigurumi. She's beautiful! Great job!
Just curious, but how did you do the blush on her cheeks?
