3831  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: 44 cent round 5 gallery on: December 11, 2010 01:03:36 PM
I have just recently started collecting papercrafting supplies so I'm sure I'll be able to use everything!

I think tut. for the necklace is in order (: I LOVEEEEEEEE that necklace - great envelope! Happy bday!!!

A very similar necklace was wisted by teachart from another Craftster but I don't think there was a tutorial so I figured it out myself.  What I did was print an image of the ladies in the size I wanted.  I rolled out polymer clay very thin then laid the image on top of it.  I cut the paper images of the ladies and the clay at the same time with an exacto knife so they would perfectly match.  I baked off the clay disks by themselves, glued the images onto the finished clay with diamond glaze, drilled the holes with a hand held drill and assembled it into a necklace using jewelry findings.  If that's not clear, just let me know!

Wow, PRETTY!  I want one.  Oh, I guess that means I need to make one, too.   Smiley

Postal workers must be having a crabby day globally.  My mail carrier's backup person just came up my driveway with a package telling me she was going to measure my driveway and if it's a half mile long they won't deliver packages to us any more.  I told her it's .4 miles long, and the house has been here for 15 years and the driveway didn't recently enlongate.  Merry $@#%'ing Christmas to you, too.  grrr.

Happy birthday, teachart!  I'm glad it arrived today and that you're going to wear the necklace tonight.  It was a fun project.   Smiley

I received my envelope from southern flower, it was crammed full of papercrafting goodness!  First, a gorgeous assortment of papers.  Such lovely textures!

An awesome assortment of stickers in so many different themes and other papery bits.  I can't wait to try the stencil.  Thank you so much southern flower, I love everything!

I'm making everyone in my family something for Christmas this year as a crafty surprise.  My son-in-law is a big fan of zombie movies, so I decided to do something along those lines for him.  I got inspiration from two Craftster sources.  The Zombieland inchies that Slybetty made for the Inchie My Theme swap, and the Merry Christmas altoid tin that Rackycoo posted not that long ago.  I ended up with Zombieland rules magnets presented in a decorated tin.  I'm also making him a stenciled yeti t-shirt due to his unnatural hatred of them.  My daughter assures me he'll think it's funny.  Wink  Thanks for the inspiration, I love Craftster!

I just know I'm going to be going over because of thickness.
Maybe this should be the 64 cent swap instead of the 44 cent swap!
