I have been dying to try my hand at this and finally committed to a swap and came up with this as my first ATC. I'm a beginner at this and its a complete departure from my artistic style!

I used fabric, faux suede, paper, and clear cellophane to make an abstract/ Japanese Animation version of Alice in Wonderland themed ATC with the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, and Red Queen. I designed it to be viewed both right side up or upside down.  I can't wait to try some more.

Thanks for the suggestions, the photo doesn't show the wrinkling very well. I realized after I posted ,if you just see the photo the bag looks fine. The lighting wasn't very good but it does have quite a bit of wrinkling. Over time I guess it will be less noticeable as the bag gets "broken in"

I'm new to bag/pursemaking and wanting to know if anyone has tip are suggestions on how to get rid of wrinkles that you can't reach with an iron. I used a fusable interfacing that was heavier than I thought and it's now very wrinkled. Is it safe to use a dryer with damp towel? Help please!

Thanks vicmes, you have some really cool stuff in your store and your pics look great and interesting! Looks like your shop's doing fine with all the sales you've had! My 3 little sales have been friends and family who were already buying my cards before I had etsy so I don't really count them as new customers lol.

I'll definately be trying some of those. It is hard when not everyone is at the same "creative" level but its not really about the finnished product anyway, I just want us to have a fun time. Thanks for reminding me of that.

I'd like to plan a crafting party, but alas, most of those I know are not into art/ craft hobbies. I've thought about homemade lotions or something simple like that. Any tips or suggestions for a cool inexpensive way to get some people open to being crafty and creative? Scrapbooking is not something they're into.

This is the first wallet I ever made. I LOVE the colors. Bags and purses are a new territory for me but now I am addicted.
