Thank you!!  Grin

Google "leather wrap bracelet tutorial" and that should bring up a couple things... but I kinda just looked at pictures and tried it. LOL. It's not too difficult to put on by yourself, just make sure you don't make the loop closures too tight to where it's difficult to get the button through it. They take a while to make, so be prepared! LOL

5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Semi-Newbie.... :) on: August 18, 2011 04:57:34 PM
I've had my account here for a while, but I'm just now getting around to actually doing something useful with it. Smiley I'm from the US and like to do a lot of random crafting... basically just whatever I think is fun or pretty at the time, I'm a bit ADD when it comes to crafts, LOL, I wanna try it all! Right now I've been into making leather wrap bracelets, and I've also tried my hand at making some rosaries. I'm also trying my hand at selling some of my latest work on Etsy, but it's taking some time to get it going since I work a full time job. I'm hoping it works though!

Loving this website! Great place for information, inspiration, and help with questions! Cheesy

Ugh, same here! I usually get around to somewhat starting everything I want to do, but almost never finish all of them! LOL. I get too distracted by all of the other pretty things I could make....  Grin

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: keeping thread untangled when making leather wrap bracelets? on: August 17, 2011 10:44:28 AM
Use NYMO nylon beading thread. I had the same problem when I started making these bracelets, then tried the NYMO thread. The results? NO TANGLING!! Cheesy It's a life saver. If you want to see a bracelet made with this thread, here's one of mine:

You can get the thread and hobby stores or many websites online and it's really cheap.

Hope this helps! :-)

Hi! I'm somewhat new to crafster, so I thought I would get around to sharing one of my recent projects! I absolutely fell in love with these bracelets when I kept seeing them around town, and HAD to figure out how to make one. Well, here's the finished product! Enjoy! Cheesy

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Multidirectional... Intarsia? on: June 18, 2010 05:30:11 PM
A long time ago I had tried to do what I thought was intarsia, but when I search for intarsia, it's all just multi-color knitting. What I'm looking for is that multi-directional type look of knitting.... Can anyone point me in the direction of what I may be looking for? I'll take patterns and tutorials, but mostly need tutorials to get me started again. LOL. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
