Great job on getting the shape to look right. My stuff is always a bit off from how I plan it, but this looks spot on. Yes, trial and error is a big part of it, but it looks like you're already well on your way.

That is awesome! Great Job!! I think he's adorable!!

Thank you very much! The hardest part was the body, ROUND is apparently a rather difficult shape to achieve.

So this is my first serious attempt at making a doll pattern of any sort. Or a doll for that matter.

My first post too! Hello everyone!

This is Timcampy, the lovable golden golem from the manga D.Gray-man.


And true to form, just as I finish him he immediately gets attacked by a cat.


And that's him down at the bottom for reference.


I just realized I forgot to embroider the end of his tail like I wanted. I'll have to go back and do that. I made some mistakes along the way. A lot of trial and error on my part, but that's how you learn, right?
