3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: My son's space quilt! on: November 06, 2010 06:20:01 PM
I'm actually making myself a space quilt with the same fabrics except instead of orange I have a dark blue.  I haven't really been working on it lately, but this is totally inspiring me to start up again because it looks great!  :-)

Congrats on your first socks!  They look great, I really like the yarn and the way it striped.  :-)

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Lantern Corps scarf on: June 25, 2010 09:29:18 AM
I made this scarf because I'm a nerd and my now ex-boyfriend was a huge green lantern fan.  I used this http://www.pictureknitting.com/gauge/PicKnitChartMkr.html to make charts for the symbols and then got to work. It's super warm 'cause it's double knit, although as you can tell by the picture it isn't exactly cold here now.  :-)

Here's me with the scarf; it's big.

Here's a closer look at the squares

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Music Purse on: June 25, 2010 09:19:02 AM
I made this purse for my little sister, who loves to sing and play guitar and just generally loves music.  I used this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298323.0 tutorial to alter this http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html pattern.

Here's the top

and the inside phone pocket

She liked it. :-)
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Red hat on: June 25, 2010 09:13:41 AM
I made a hat based off of this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=62352.0 pattern.  It turned out a little big, but that just makes it comfier.  :-)

Here's the back, where you can see where I sewed it.

And here's it on me.  :-)
