1  Lantern Corps scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by Arbitraryorange on: June 25, 2010 09:29:18 AM
I made this scarf because I'm a nerd and my now ex-boyfriend was a huge green lantern fan.  I used this http://www.pictureknitting.com/gauge/PicKnitChartMkr.html to make charts for the symbols and then got to work. It's super warm 'cause it's double knit, although as you can tell by the picture it isn't exactly cold here now.  :-)

Here's me with the scarf; it's big.

Here's a closer look at the squares

2  Music Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Arbitraryorange on: June 25, 2010 09:19:02 AM
I made this purse for my little sister, who loves to sing and play guitar and just generally loves music.  I used this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298323.0 tutorial to alter this http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html pattern.

Here's the top

and the inside phone pocket

She liked it. :-)

3  Red hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by Arbitraryorange on: June 25, 2010 09:13:41 AM
I made a hat based off of this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=62352.0 pattern.  It turned out a little big, but that just makes it comfier.  :-)

Here's the back, where you can see where I sewed it.

And here's it on me.  :-)

4  Altered Buttercup Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Arbitraryorange on: June 07, 2010 10:34:34 PM
I made myself a purse using this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298323.0 tutorial for altering this http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html pattern.  I used some skeleton fabric I got from Joann's a few years ago but had never found a use for.  I was quite pleased that my phone pocket turned out to be the perfect size, and overall am quite happy with the pattern and the alterations suggested by queenofdiy. :-)
