I made one too!  Mine isn't as cute as yours, Amber; I used fabric to match the other things I made this week.

Well, I tried a placemat purse, and I'm really pleased with it!
I followed the tutorials I found here.
I had a hard time putting in a zippered lining but did it. It's  not perfect, but OK for my first try, I think.
I am really having fun with my new sewing machine!

And here's the purse organizer I made the other day.  It's the first thing I made with my new sewing machine; I love it but it was too big for my purse, so I had to make a new purse, lol.
