How cute!  What did you use around the top of the pink one?

Thanks. The trim is just some elastic lacy stuff. Possibly intended for lingerie

Here is a painting Ive been working on for some time. Its almost done, but i feel really stuck. I want to change it dramatically.

I would really appreciate criticisms and suggestions on what i should do to make this piece more interesting!

Yup, for a class. Otherwise there would of been zero chance of completing it

Actually it's pretty scary during the day too. I had to move it into the basement

Thanks all! well, there isn't a frame or anything, I basibally just squished the paper into shape. It's pretty dense.

This is a self-portrait sculpture. I attempted making it to scale, it about 5 foot 7. Made entirely of newspaper and 11 rolls of clear packing tape. there are a few rocks in the boots, so it could stand by itself.

functioning pockets!

Thanks
10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Sitting, Waiting, Wasting... on: May 25, 2010 09:45:51 AM
You know when you wait and wish for something that never actually happens, and you feel that you have foolishly held on the this hope for so long, that it has begun to decompose? This figure evolved from that idea

I think that a long, harsh winter has fueled many angst-filled concepts for me. Not to mention an intense lesson in pretension thanks to my first completed year of art school! So sometime while being trapped in-doors for months, I decided to play with my leftover childhood sculpey. This is what came out.

Probably not the clearest photos, but I obviously wanted to make good use any available real sunlight. Thanks for taking a look!
