1  U.F.O in our backyard in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects by Ringcraft Moana on: May 26, 2010 05:09:17 PM
Rob started and we finished it.. our Paua shell flowers... or is it more to catch some rain for the birds? Also could also be something from out of space...?

thanks for all the lovely replies, they do make some noise when the wind is going. The Abalone (Haliotis Iris) stays with its colours for the beauty of New Zealand and the Pacific Ocean. The meat is black and tasts really yumm. The shell as also the seldom pearls you can find in every 100.000 of them, is used to make beautiful jewellery out of it. However the birds in our garden just appreciate the cool drink out of it Wink
greetings from New Zealand

2  natural Abalone pearl pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ringcraft Moana on: May 25, 2010 07:35:54 PM
I love these deep blue colours! To work with the Abalone shell (Paua) in the form of blister pearls, freeform pearls or cultured pearls is just amazing. This animal is not just pretty, it also tasts good with lemon and butter Wink So if you have your next Paua have a closer look.. you might find a pearl or a blister pearl in it! Also added 0.02ct diamond + 9ct yellow gold.
