211  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / First ever project post!--Metal Link Necklace on: May 23, 2010 08:11:20 PM



This is a necklace that I made. It is Nickle silver, 20 gauge, cold worked (no soldering), with green glass beads. It is about 27" long. All of the jump rings were hand wound and cut by me. The link style is one that I learned in my Intro to Fine Metals class. Really simple stuff.

I don't have a tutorial for this, but I do have the instructions from my textbook, The Complete Metalsmith by Tim McCreight.

O_O   That is def hardcore. I LOVE it!  How did you think of it?  Nice touch doubling up the spikey parts, so you don't get scratched. Now do a razor wire inspired one, LOL.

oh wow, it's perfect!

I would love to see someone do Ignignokt and Err amigurumi. Actually, I think I will give it a try! Unless someone else here already did and I just haven't seen it...
