Your site looks great! Thanks for including my scarf, I feel so honoured.  I LOVE the blue and white sweater!  And thanks again for designing and sharing this chart.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Sports Classic Slipon on: December 06, 2005 07:44:06 PM
thanks!

The needles were fairly small... I think 3 mm and 2 mm for the ribbing.  I keep trying to convince myself to knit something in a large gauge (for instant gratification purposes) but I just never get around to it!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sports Classic Slipon on: December 06, 2005 07:01:57 PM
This pattern is from McCalls Fall/Winter 1961 issue.

It's made from a baby alpaca called "Inca Gold" that I think is produced locally (Montreal).

More pictures of me looking goofy in it in my blog, dullknits.blogspot.com

Thanks for looking!
6  CLOTHING / Sewing Pattern Reviews / Pants Factory on: October 18, 2005 02:38:07 PM
Can anyone recommend a good pants pattern? I have not had much luck with them.  I'm not sure why but the fit always seems to turn out odd.

I've been looking at Vogue 8131
as I like the style and Vogue are usually cut well.

Any thoughts?

I'm the kind of person that's like "WHY isn't this thing WORKING?!" and then I realize it's because it isn't plugged in

Haha! I'm the exact same way.

Did you try looking in the guide that came with it?  Sometimes it will give diagrams of stitch problems and tell you how to correct them, or give a list of frequent problems and their solutions.  If you don't have the guide, you could try searching the model number online and a lot of times you will have good luck finding it.

This is a great thread! I'm sorry I saw it so late, songs to be French to is my specialty ( Wink) but you all made excellent suggestions!

AndreaLH, I was just wondering which record shop you're referring to?
