Teeny tiny felt Terran marine from the game Starcraft. I mostly modeled him from the first game, cause that's the one the Boy grew up with.   He was actually really simple.  A lot because I just glued the little pieces on.

Used kwoozy's bunny pattern and made a little wolpertinger!  She guards my bookcase for me.

So, I was trolling through ThinkGeek the other day when I stumbled across these cuties:


I truly, madly, deeply wanted a Frodo doll.  I had my finger on the buy button when, in a flash of craftyness I thought to myself, "Hey...you could make that.  And it might even be cuter. And you'll love it more, because you made it.  Also, you won't have to pay for shipping."

So, I did.



I'm ridiculously proud of him.  It's the first pattern I've ever drawn up completely by myself.  And the fact that I had enough patience to sew him those (stupidly tiny and insanely frustrating) clothes is kinda a big deal.  I'm not that patient.

I absolutely love the material I found for his cloak.  It kinda changed my life.   I used green wire for the leaf brooch, but it didn't show too well in the picture.  

I'm still pretty new at this so comments and critiques are always welcome!  

So, my dearest darling is living in Germany right now, and he's fussing about how cold it's been.  Hence, this Cthulhu scarf. 







He also has little feet and claws, but they're in the middle of the roll.

Is it always so...hard?  It was almost like a rock and very crumbly.  Am I just a weakling, did I buy a bad batch, or is it just that struggley all the time?
