So, I was trolling through ThinkGeek the other day when I stumbled across these cuties:

I truly, madly, deeply wanted a Frodo doll. I had my finger on the buy button when, in a flash of craftyness I thought to myself, "Hey...you could make that. And it might even be cuter. And you'll love it more, because you made it. Also, you won't have to pay for shipping."
So, I did.

I'm ridiculously proud of him. It's the first pattern I've ever drawn up completely by myself. And the fact that I had enough patience to sew him those (stupidly tiny and insanely frustrating) clothes is kinda a big deal. I'm not that patient.

I absolutely love the material I found for his cloak. It kinda changed my life.

I used green wire for the leaf brooch, but it didn't show too well in the picture.
