11  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Macram attack vs. more space for the plants on: December 19, 2011 12:51:45 PM
Ok, realy no one seems to macram plant hangings these days, they seem to be incredibly outdated but we needed some quick and cheap extra space for our plants because its freezing, insanely cold outside, plus, out of toddler reach. I wanted something colorful yet not too much over the top which is why I cose dark red jute yarn for it (which comes out waaaaay too bright on the pic). Id still love to cover it with red sparkling beads but I guess Id have to knock dh unconscious before Grin.

More pics and the making of photo love story on my blog http://bohemiancrafting.blogspot.com/2011/12/plant-hanging-pics.html

Love those details, it must have been a lot of work, but neat all the way:-D!

When I saw this pic I was like "omg, this is really a stocking?!":-D
13  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Keeping track of where you are... Tips? on: December 10, 2011 11:46:46 AM
When I knit a complex (for me) pattern, I write it out on a piece of graph paper so I can mark off the squares with a pencil as I do them.

I second this, pretty much my way of keeping track where I am in my pattern. Priceless when watching a movie while knitting.
