1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Special gift for best friend? on: December 14, 2006 04:57:08 PM
My best friend asked me to make him something for Christmas/just because. The MAKE part was imperative.. I like making stuff anyway, but I've been forbidden to buy the gift. He's kindof emotional and sentimental by guy standards, but he's also veryy not into anything remotely girly. Consumables are out because he really wants it to be something he can keep.

A little about him:
He's twenty.
He likes: the Steelers, Fight Club and Pirates of the Caribbean(and movies in general!), alternative music, his car(an old Mustang.. what year, I have nooo idea), Rachel Leigh Cook, Madden and World of Warcraft, and poker.

I can sew, I can etch glass, I can stencil, I can paint on stuff(although I CAN'T paint in the artistic sense), I can do candles and soap, but that's really about it I think. There's not a specific deadline so I could learn something new if need be, so I'd like to not invest too much money if possible with it being gift season.
