4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: very first wreath... autumn themed on: October 26, 2010 04:53:59 PM
Very nice!  I wanted to make an autumn wreath to hang above the fireplace but chickened out at the last minute and bought a pre-fab one instead.   Roll Eyes  Good for you for going for it!
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Morning Glory Skirt (with tutorial!) on: June 24, 2010 09:16:10 AM
I googled "gored skirt pattern" and got some helpful results, but when I saw your picture, Britannica, everything just clicked together. This is definitely on my list of things to make after we move! Thanks again!!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: New summer dress on: June 22, 2010 06:40:27 AM
I really love this pattern, and your rendering of it is superb! I'm waiting impatiently for the next 1.99 pattern sale at JoAnn's so I can get this one. Are the pockets big enough to be functional? i.e. fit phone, coin purse/wallet, and keys?
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Morning Glory Skirt (with tutorial!) on: June 18, 2010 02:30:29 PM
This is a beautiful skirt with a lovely name! (Has anyone else read the children's book Jack in the Green by Allen Atkinson? My family calls morning glories "brubs" because of this book.)
Anyway... Thanks very much for the instructions! It looks like it should be simple to make, but my visual-oriented brain is having trouble making sense of a few steps. Do you have any pictures of the process that you could post?
8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Calvin and Hobbes Swap! (SIGNUPS 6/14/10 - 6/28/10 ; MAIL BY 7/26/10). on: June 15, 2010 07:25:17 AM
OH MY. I would love to make this my first swap but I'm still pretty new to craftster and I'm moving in three weeks so all my extra time should be spent packing...  Tongue
I hope everyone posts what they make!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: long summer dress on: June 15, 2010 06:54:50 AM
Very cute. I like the fabric, too. I love the simple neckline and the back straps. Did you use a pattern? I'd love to be able to make something like this!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Rose Petal Skirt ( indoor pics added ) on: June 10, 2010 07:06:26 AM
I'm another stalker coming out of lurk-mode to say thanks for sharing all of your talent and hard work with us. I sure do enjoy looking and wondering to myself how you do it. Smiley

Blessings to you and the doctors doing your surgery. Take your time and recover well. Your craftster buddies are looking forward to your return!
