1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Making your own metal charms on: March 14, 2013 01:29:05 PM
Hello

I want to learn how to make/find someone to make custom metal charms for a charm bracelet. I have seen some tutorials online but they are kind of confusing. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me figure this out.

Thanks!
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / KC's TV Quilt on: July 29, 2010 10:09:20 PM
This is a quilt I made for a friend of mine. I promised her it for her birthday 2 1/2 years and just gave it to her on her half birthday this past Tuesday.
It's has 33 shows on it for a total of 82 blocks (2 became pillows)
10ft long and 7 1/2ft wide
Barque satin on the borders
French Seamed on the bottom with ribbon stitched in so you can tie it (it's more of cover than a quilt)
The inside is two pieces of muslin with a piece of batting inside. I stitched it to the inside seams just a few here and there to hold it. It took me more than two years just to compile the photos. I've been sewing it for the past six weeks pretty solid. She loved it!

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Best Transfer Paper for Fabric on: June 08, 2010 04:34:45 PM
Hi!

I am making a quilt for a friend of mine who loves tv-I have created squares with photos of her favorite characters and the next step is to print them onto something. I have been reading about transfer vs printing on fabric and would love to hear what other people have used. One item I am looking at ishttp://www.cjenkinscompany.com/product_p/pre-treated%20photo%20fabric%20kit.htm (has anyone used it? It seems cool but I don't want to buy it and then it be blah)

Thank you so much!
