That is such awesome fabric! Skully yet colorful, I love it. It looks great.

I'm curious about the other pics/dress now Smiley

Hufflepuff ftw! It's so awesome, I'd want one of those! Really great, way cooler than all those Gryffindor scarfs =D

Wow, that looks really cute, especially for something that sounds so simple to make. Nice color too, I like it =)

Yeah, I indeed thought of grommet tape, but I couldn't really find it anywhere. I might try to get some of ebay or something then =) A zipper is not a bad idea either, I'll see if I can find something like that.

And Alexus1325, that's a really great idea for the bodice, thanks ^^

Okay, so I was in the store and saw a tea towel with a print I really liked, so I bought 3.

(Never mind the weird arms, they're behind my back. Also, it's not hemmed yet since I had to hand-sew)

I like it so far =) I want to make it into a dress, since I ended up only using 1,5 of my 3 tea towels so I have lots left. The problem is, it's a bit too cute for me. I like the print, but the way this turned out and definitly will become when I make it into a dress is not really my thing. I actually don't wear a lot of dresses so I don't really have a "taste" in dresses (mostly because I never find one I like). So my question is, do you guys have any idea how to give it more of an "edge" when turning it into a dress? Nothing really over the top, but like something I can wear to a metal concert but also on a regular summer day.

Nice! I looove the straps, really original and unique. I don't see too much muffin top going on, but indeed, if you watch out with your underwear I wouldn't worry about it.
