1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / I have the 1st issue of CRAFT magazine from creators of MAKE on: October 13, 2006 01:42:15 PM
It isn't supposed to be out until October 17th! Am I extremely lucky?  Did Barnes and Noble make a mistake?  I hope so! hahaha
2  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / SUGAR SKULL Dress on: October 15, 2005 10:27:15 AM
This dress is a collaboration by my two friends Kenthia and Noelle.  Kenthia does the embroidery and Noelle does the sewing.  Noelle is the owner of Lola Jayne, a kick ass company that produces one of a kind purses, skirts, kids clothes, you name it they make it!  Kenthia is in the process of getting her company going as well so we should be seeing more amazing things from her soon!  If you are in the market for items to get you noticed go check out

Okay so enough with the shameless plugs- here's the dress.  Comments appreciated!
3  KNITTING / Knitalongs / LIL Devil Pants anyone? on: September 19, 2005 08:23:53 AM
Hi all- I am trying to get going on some lil devil pants from SNB Nation.  I had them pretty far along on one leg but screwed up terribly and frogged the whole thing in frustration (I'm not very good at unknitting or at making peace with a mistake and continuing anyway)  So, the pants are a gift that I want to have done a little before Halloween.  Anybody interested?
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Teacher Appreciation Stepping Stone on: August 24, 2005 01:51:25 PM
Hey all- this is my first post of a completed project so forgive me if I am doing something wrong.  This is my first stepping stone project.  I made it for my son's Kindergarten teacher as an end of the year thank you gift.  The flower petals are all the kids faces. They don't look as washed out in person and for some reason it looks like it says 2003 but it is 2005, I guess it's because of the shadow and the font!  Lemme Know what you think!
