2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / What are these closures called? on: April 22, 2011 04:14:13 AM
Sorry but I'm not a jewellery person usually so I've never ventured into here before. I'm going to be making some goth/lolita chokers and was just wondering what these things are called so I can look them up and buy some.

Thanks :-)

4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Tension WAY too tight on Brother BC-2500 :-( on: March 14, 2011 01:44:44 AM
My Brother BC-2500 is having tension problems :-(

I've cleaned it out and put new needle, thread and bobbin in and it's still stitching too tight, even when the tension is set to zero!

I can't afford to take it to a professional yet so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it for me??
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help making a dress similar to this pic on: March 09, 2011 03:09:02 PM
Thanks for those replies. And the pattern links :-)

I think I might bite the bullet and try drafting my own pattern, I've never made a pattern for anything like that before though, should be stressful and fun at the same time lol

love it! :-)

Just wondering if the fabric has stretch and if so what happens to the designs when it does??

9  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / WTB Online: Black and coloured PVC fabric on: June 18, 2010 06:39:55 AM
I'm looking for mainly black but other colours as well PVC material like what's used in fetish wear but also for bags.
I got some in a remnant bag on eBay and now I can't find any more anywhere online. I have spotlight here but they don't have it.

I don't care where in Australia I buy it from I just need some!! And preferably cheap of course Wink

If anyone can help me find a supplier I'll give you one of my bags as a thankyou  Grin
