That is so cute! I love it.

Please be kind.

The projects in this section of craftster are so amazing and inspiring and I know mine is very very simple.

I bought a panel from an etsy shop called Voodoo Rabbit (I did blog the link if you need it) and started sewing the second it arrived.

I'm completely in love. Hehe. Actually, my daughter is too.

For me, this project was a bit deal because I managed to stuff the doll solid (the best stuffing job that I've ever done) and when I hand sewed the dolls closed they were neat and almost invisible! I'm really pleased. And kinda relieved that I didn't waste such a gorgeous piece of fabric.

I'm obsessed with tulip skirts but I find it really hard to find any that I love. I LOVE this one! Did you use a pattern?

Fabulousness in skirt form!

Oh thank you all so much! It really is a gorgeous pattern and super easy to put together. The best part is that they have pattern pieces for sewing with and without overlockers so they make allowances for needing to hem the ruffles. It makes it so much easier!

Kristy, my daughter is too old for them now but I can't tell you how much I wish I'd known about such adorable diaper (nappy) covers when she was little. ♥

I bought my pattern from here http://www.duckcloth.com.au/item.php?item_id=1559&category_id=117 Shipping was free because I'm in Australia.

Maybe email them and ask how much it would be?

Thank you so much for compliments. Made me blush so much!

I made some ruffled baby bloomers using this really gorgeous pattern from Bettsy Kingston http://www.kelanifabric.com.au/index.php?PCID=11948&PSO=236&PSID=BKRP&PSV=Primary&CDO=

What do you think?

I think they turned out really well. I had a bit of trouble with the leg casing. You just overlock or zigzag stitch the raw edges and then turn them over creating the casing. My casing was a mess. I couldn't get it to sit nicely. On the plus side, when they were finished they looked fine. The gather hid all the messiness.

I bought a singlet and put a little brooch on it to go with the bloomers

I love making accessories. I can't help it!
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / crochet trimmed pillows on: July 04, 2010 02:50:38 PM
Hi!

I made these pillows last weekend and it was the BEST fun!

I'm still very new to crochet so I was very nervous about it all. Which is silly because I think it turned out pretty well.

I used this amazing tutorial on You Go Girl. http://yougogirl.typepad.com/you_go_girl/2010/03/crochet-like-crazy.html

Seriously though, I love the effect of the crochet on the pillows that it's going to take all my strength to avoid doing it to all our pillows.

Also, does anyone know where I can find some more trim patterns? I'm looking at buying Crochet Adorned but I can't find a copy in town to look through before I buy it online (it's cheaper that way). Does anyone have a copy? Does it have trim patterns?

Of course, the pillows are blogged as well if you're interested.  Wink
