First Halloween costume to ever make me hungry!

This Halloween, a friend and I decided to do a challenge to create our own owl costumes in less than 12 hours. We called it "Project Owl." We each went our way and did an owl costume. On Saturday night, we met up at a Halloween Party to reveal the results and here they are:

Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE) is hosting the Just Holiday Marketplace to provide a family-friendly community space for folks from all walks of life to come together and support local artists and crafters, indie businesses (with a focus on handmade), musicians working to support themselves or self-distribute their music, and local/micro-entrepreneurs. The SAJE Just Holiday Marketplace is a juried market. We do this to ensure variety of merchandise, and also to ensure that all goods sold at the market meet our requirements of handmade, artisanal, indie, and/or fairly-traded. We believe that keeping money local keeps communities strong.

Applications will be accepted through November 12, 2010.
