I am having a major problem even this early in the swap.  I have far too many really good ideas and no idea where to say "That's enough".  I have my "large" pretty much finished, and a few other miscellaneous mediums and a buttload of smalls...and still have a bunch of ideas on the drawing board.  I also stopped by Goodwill today in hopes of finding something usable and got a whole box of "stuff" that shall not be outlined here or it will give away the project.

How much is too much?  Where does one draw the line?  How does a craftaholic reach the point of completion?

I entirely have the same problem going on. I'm thinking I'll pick out the box I'm going to send everything in and make sure to stop if it overflows.  Smiley

excellent job. Never been a big fan of patterns myself. I got a book called "patternless fashion" it shows how to draft your own based on your measurements.  I've found it easier than any pattern.

that's so adorable. I'll need to keep that in mind for my little sprout when we start on that.

I ran to the craft store to get all my supplies before the hurricane caught us thinking at least I'd have something to do if the power went out.  The hurricane passed right over us but was next to nothing.  Has about as much force as an old man's sneeze. I took one of the branches that the storm knocked down (just one size up from twigs not big burly stuff) to make something for the swap  Grin

Of course I can't seem to stop crafting on this.  I'm trying a few new things, so I'm at an enforced breaking point so I can see how a new technique works.

Given the amount of lucky breaks and frustrating why won't this work moments so far while crafting for this swap, I'm sure Loki is watching over me.

betnoir, on your image question,

Legally if you don't sell it there is no copyright infringement.  However, make sure you let your partner know where the images are from, so they know where to get the stuff they sell if they like it.  Giving credit is always good form.

Eliea -I just used regular craft store polyfill to stuff her.

The fabric is still quite stretchy which led to her ruben-esque figure.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments!

Went to the craft store and got talking to another craftster crafter about my poppet and realized i hadn't put her in this thread yet, so here she is, Autumn.

I would suggest making eco-friendly/re-usable school supplies like insulated lunch bag, bookbag from thriftstore clothing something along those lines.
